Chinese shares moved up for a second day on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rising 1.07 percent, or 25.01 points, to close at 2373.31.
The Shenzhen Component Index gained 2.03 percent, or 202.7 points, to close at 10180.27.
